Chishiya didn't believe the words leaving his mouth for a second. He'd never see Arisu again, and that was just the reality of things.
"I'll see you then." Arisu said. "Good luck."
"Yeah, you too."
Or: What if Chishiya was the one to press the button with Arisu during the game of tag, and as a result, was the one to find him after the deaths of Karube and Chota? Alice in Borderland but Chishiya and Usagi switch roles because why not.

Future Him’s face turns serious again. “I do still have a warning for you, though, and it’s kind of time-sensitive.”
“Go for it,” Lance says, mission mode activated. (Despite what the team may tease, they all know Lance can be serious).
“Okay!” Future Him leans out of frame a little, and the sound of rapid typing is faintly audible. “I just sent you a file. Check your station.”
Lance does, on it finding a document with nothing but a list of several coordinates, only a few that he recognises.
“...Coordinates? What for?”
Future Him’s face turns hard, but there’s something… off, about it. Lance can’t quite pin it down.
“This is a list of places you must, never, ever visit,” Future Him responds gravely. “Ever. Just completely off-limits. You’ll thank me, promise.”
Never… ever?
“...Right,” Lance says slowly. He crosses his fingers behind his back. “Of course. I’ll make sure I avoid these places. Got it.”

“That’s beautiful,” Shiro says, smiling softly. Lance smiles back.
“Your Nana?” Pidge questions. “I would’ve thought you’d call her Abuela.”
“Well,” Lance says, in a startlingly good Scottish accent. “The McClain half ‘a me family had to come from somewhere, eh, lass?”
“I didn’t know you were Scottish,” Keith says quietly. It does make sense — McClain is a very Scottish name, now that he thinks of it — but somehow he’d never considered it.
“His mom’s side is,” Hunk chimes in. “That’s why he’s so freckly.”

“Lance why do you look pink all of a sudden?” He had a fuchsia hue covering his tan cheeks, spreading all the way to his ears and the back of his neck. And he was staring straight at Keith.
“Wha- I do not! I have no idea what you’re talking about.” The blue paladin wasn’t thinking at all about how good the other looked in the flower crown. His raven locks framed his face gracefully and with the crown he looked just like a prince. 'So this is what they mean when you can hear your heartbeat.' He was still staring when he caught those violet irises slanted in a questioning look. 'Shit.'
(A recently unearthed wholesome fic set somewhere in Season 1/2 where they take a little break on an earth like planet. Pining and fluff occur)
