“Alright, alright, fine. Anything in particular?”
A few moments pass befoe Rachel finally speaks. When she does, her cadence is off, as if the question stumbled out before her brain could catch up, something Chloe is oh so familiar with. It’s strange hearing Rachel’s tone resembling her own in that way. “Would he have liked me?”
