Summary
Lex seriously doubted Clark was honorable enough to let bygones be bygones just because Lana had thanked him in her acceptance speech last year, but his sister was too good a person to fathom the lengths to which a narcissist wronged would go to seek justice for perceived wrongdoing.
The perceived wrongdoing, in this case, being Lana refusing his proposal to become barefoot and pregnant at seven-fucking-teen.
Clark was here to ruin the wedding.
Let there be no confusion on this point.

Summary
Their eyes meet. Superman appraises him silently. Tracks the emaciated planes of his face down to the sharp jut of his collarbones from under the neck of his shirt. Lex doesn’t let himself wish for a door to close, for a curtain to drop, for a blanket to pull over his head. He feels like a child. Terrified and sick about it.
“It’s Wednesday,” Superman says, voice low. Gentle, almost, as if Lex is some sort of stray animal, tense and shaking, primed to bite. Demeaning.
Lex is not shaking. He holds his breath for a moment, wills the rhythm of his lungs to slow. He concentrates the fear into disgust, into a single heated beam of hatred. There are protections in place. Contracts, laws. Lex is government property. Superman won’t — he won’t.
Nobody will touch Lex Luthor.

Summary
Clark Kent uses red kryptonite and crashes Lex and Lana's engagement party, but it's what happens afterwards that will change everything. After leaving the party and returning to the barn, Lex "goes after" Clark with every intention of kicking his ass. Things take an interesting turn though as Clark, free from his inhibitions, lets slip a secret that has nothing to do with his powers.
