"Still have the capacity to make mistakes. You can't be perfect all the time, no one can,"
Data just stared at him.
"You are," He said. Geordi stopped talking, heat rushing to his cheeks.
"I- what?" He asked, incredulous.
"Apologies," Data said, looking anywhere but Geordi. "I had not intended to voice that thought. Perhaps I do need a break, after all,"
Geordi smiled, and Data tilted his head.
"What is it?" He asked.
"Just good to have you back," Geordi replied._______________
Or, Data realises the only way he can clear his mind is through physical touch. And the only person he wants it from is more than willing to help.

Sign language became a favorite way to communicate between them. Wilson didn’t mind it, switching naturally between the two at a speed that sometimes visibly made House’s head spin, which only acted as an incentive for Wilson. He enjoyed feeling like the know-it-all for once, sometimes even having the opportunity to show House new signs he wasn’t familiar with, usually related to medical vocabulary. They used it more and more until it became only natural and they started favoring it over spoken English, sometimes opting to sign when they were home alone at House’s, watching television, or simply hanging out.
And then Julie left him.
OR: Wilson is native to both English and American Sign Language, House is confused about not being aware of the fact, and both are being idiots.

Inspired by a conversation that Lady Yate-Xel and Tinsnip had re: a Deep Dish Nine version of "The Wire," namely: what if Elim Garak's wire was a neat little drug addiction?
Set in the alternate universe of Deep Dish Nine.
Tinsnip wrote it, Lady Yate-Xel drew it and provided oodles and oodles of background detail and world-building for Tinsnip to make sand castles out of. (We really should have a works cited page.)
This work uses Lady Yate-Xel's Julian and Elim and is not "canon," as it were; it's just an idea.
