    A HYDRA timeline Steve makes it to the MCU universe right at the end of Civil War, and kidnaps Tony to make him into a new HYDRA assassin. This is quickly made into EVERYONE’s problem.

    Or, Steve leaves Tony for dead in Siberia. A (green) twist of fate puts Steve in Tony’s situation – quite literally – and spirits Tony away.

    He looked down that path as far as he could
    To where it bent int he under growth

    He took the other, just as fair
    Having perhaps the better claim

    When first he'd kept the other for another day
    Now Way led onto Way
    He shouldn't have doubted he'd be back

    Two roads diverged in a yellow wood
    Now, he'll take the one not traveled by
    And that shall make all the difference
