Summary
Video tapes in Teyvat were invented way long before humans actually invented them. However they weren’t actually kameras, and instead an invention gods created that were able to create holograms like videos. They called them a memory gem.
This story follows Lumine, Paimon, and Xiao after being sent on a mission by Zhongli to find an ancient relic near Mt. Aocang. Though with not much information to start with on finding this ancient relic, the three start searching everything they could possibly discover surrounding the mountain. With not much hope left, they decide to search the actual mountain once again. And thus discover something they had not realized was there before. This discovery unraveled many secrets, sending not only Lumine and Paimon into a spiral but also Xiao, especially, since the secret was mainly about him.
Xiao learns many secrets that was kept from him such as his parents and who they were.

Barbatos nods in understanding, then he reaches out and links their hands, fingers slotting together. They’ve done this before on other quiet nights spent in secret. “Want to get married?” he asks, half-jest. But he’s half-serious, too, extending an olive branch that could spell either happiness or ruin.
“I think I will return to Liyue Harbor,” replies Morax. “I am tired, Barbatos. I want to rest.”
There is conflicted affection rooted on Barbatos’s face, but he nods again. He doesn’t let go of Morax’s hand. Morax doesn’t loosen his grip, either.
The silence is companionable.

this is a spin-off (kinda) of "Windwheel Aster:Adored by the wind" Where we get to see stories or scenes that never make it to Windwheels final draft, weather it be due to the scene not fitting well into the chapters plot, or (most of the times) i got the idea of a scene that took place in past chapters! regardless, its still Windwheel Aster, hence "spin-off"! yayyyy!Current chapters:
