James woke up and immediately wished he didn't. Something about the sun seeping through the windows seemed to mock his less than cheery mood
He felt the bad feelings bubble up. But pushed them down, until he was empty. An empty chest was easy to fill with fake happiness and an easy demeanor. Never mind that he had a rock lodged in his throat. His hands were shaking but he gripped his fork tight with one hand and placed the other one on his bouncing leg.
James is having a bad day. Regulus sees him, understands and helps.
