A few days after Bix Caleen leaves him behind, Cassian Andor is very definitely Not Doing Well. Wildly contradictory feelings soon drive him to do something he will regret. It involves getting intimate with a house-plant. It involves yet another time K-2SO had to save him. Chronologically, this is the first time. Lessons are duly learned all round.
I blame @Tequila0341 for this one, specifically an off the cuff comment about how Diego Luna is so attractive and charismatic "he would have chemistry with a house-plant". Can I write an uncomplicated comic fic about that without injecting some tragic angst? No, no I absolutely cannot. This is definitely my headcanon of a kind of bridging fic between my own Bixcassian continuing WIP 'Body of Blood' and KleyaMarki's wonderful 'messy situationship' Moncassian fic series 'a long, long way from home'. Very probably Melshian or Kayssian compliant too!

Carol feels the confusion slip onto her face. Nervousness creeps up her spine again. “Me?”
“I know everything that anybody has ever thought about you, Carol. Every memory. Every feeling. Helen. Your ex-girlfriends. Your dentist. It’s like I have a Carol encyclopedia in my head.”
Carol had thought that she was done experiencing fresh horrors. What a nightmare it is to realize that she is not. “Oh, god.” She says.
“Oh, god,” Zosia agrees.
After they manage to break Zosia free of the hive, Zosia and Carol try to navigate the field of landmines that is their relationship.

No. No, surely not. She knows Mon. Mon may not be happily married, but that doesn't mean she'd be interested in anything else. For goodness' sake, that old banker friend of hers used to hang around her like a kicked puppy and he might as well have been a kicked puppy for all the attention Mon gave him. Just because she doesn't like her husband doesn't mean she likes someone else.
