"You shouldn't have," Astro murmured. "You should save these for when we're in the elevator. They're more useful to the team than to me, right now that is."

Not knowing what else to do, he goes to his ray-of-sunshine coworker, who surprisingly agrees to cover for him. It only escalates from there.

Shadow Milk has had a rough adulthood, two previous relationships leaving him alone with two children and scarred. Pure Vanilla has moved to a new city to start anew after a major loss.
Both suffered immense heartbreak, and are struggling to cope. Maybe as neighbours in the Northern-end of Beast-Yeast city they can bring each other comfort with their similar experiences. And maybe, just maybe learn to love again. -
