Shadow the hedgehog realizes he's in love with Sonic and tries to tell him without ever saying the words. It goes well and Sonic understands immediately. Why is it 36k words? Because I hate them and they make me sick and I'm apparently incapable of being normal about the things I like.

Luckily, he found himself a brand new toy to play with to pass the free time. Maybe not quite ideal - fur a tad lighter in color and quills more downturned - but similar enough.
