Past the entryway, Akaashi peers over a shoulder. His lips take on a coquettish curl. “No, I had help.” He sidesteps then — sunlight spills, saturates.
A black, paneled door appears on the screen. It’s quiet for all of a second before an outstretched arm invades the picture. Knuckles, loosely curled, rap against wood: rat-tat, rat-tat.
