He could barely sleep, mulling over the experiences the game had provided him, the laughter, the murders, the yearning. Perhaps infiltrating the games hadn’t been the best idea after all. He couldn't bear to spend another second looking into the vampire's eyes. He shut his own tightly as if he could escape the boy by simply blocking him out of sight.
"Y-you're lying, right? You gotta be..."
"Maybe. Maybe not. But whadda you say? Do you accept?" Kaito opened his eyes instantly, frowning at the vampire.
"What's in it for you? What do you gain out of this?" Kokichi batted his eyelashes at him, as he tapped his chin with his finger.
"Awww, you don't trust little old me?"
Kaito snorted. "Absolutely not".
