Summary
This was a drabble that turned into a short story because Margaret and John had too many feelings for it to be any shorter. 😄
It starts in the part of the story when Mr. Hale finally realizes his wife is dying and he's melting into a puddle on the floor at the thought. (No, I don't actually like the guy. He makes me angry because he puts EVERYTHING on his 19 year old daughter. Seriously, dude?!?)Also, I’m rearranging canon and its timeline to entirely suit my purposes, so Mr. Bell will have visited and become enamored of Margaret BEFORE Mrs. Hale died and Mrs. Shaw won’t be off adventuring in Europe, so she can take in Margaret when I needed her to. 😇
