Summary
Looking back forlornly at Luo Binghe, Shen Qingqiu pulled the blade out of his chest quickly, ensuring the least amount of pain to be inflicted. Fresh blood began to pour freely from the wound, but this didn’t deter Luo Binghe, whose eyes began to shine with a glimmer of hope. He swallowed, taking a step towards Shen Qingqiu, not daring to utter a word. As Shen Qingqiu took in this pathetic, bloody state, he didn’t feel good. This little lotus was truly too earnest, too naive. Shen Qingqiu’s mind flashed back to the pitiful state that he had seen Luo Binghe in when he first arrived to this world, that small and frail boy. In comparison, now, the boy before him was nearly taller than Shen Qingqiu, and he certainly was no longer a child. And yet, the look of innocent hope in Luo Binghe’s eyes…
It wouldn’t do to send him into the Abyss alone.
Or, Shen Qingqiu's martyrdom kicks in, and he decides to dive into the Abyss with Luo Binghe.
