Because it’s pretty clear he’s been cursed: he takes a mysterious potion every day with his lunch, stored in two opaque phials which he downs one after the other in quick succession. She’s respected his privacy, waited for him to open up about it, but despite their close proximity five days a week, he’s never so much as hinted at what he struggles with.
Whatever it is, it seems fairly benign.

1. He is insufferable

4. Now, unhappily, he is also her colleague, and they are meant to be collaborating

When Ginny finally convinces Hermione to join her on a two-week island holiday, hilarity ensues as it turns out they're not the only ones vacationing on the magical island, Serena Aquae. And when their own lodging doesn't work out, who just so happens to have extra room in his suite...?
Classic, vacation-vibe Dramione story with several classic tropes: same hotel suite, forced proximity, mild jealousy etc. Lots of humor, angst, but overall a lighthearted read.

The indignation radiated off of Draco as he observed them; Hermione Granger might be a lot of things, a mudblood, a swotty cunt, and a nuisance to fucking society, but she was not a coward.
She did not make herself smaller for the likes of men.
He respected the way she never shied away from her true nature, even in his hatred of everything she was. Her spirit was strong despite her dirty blood. That is the reason he sought so hard to break it.
