"And what about you, Shane?" the interviewer probed to the young man who happened to dissociate in the middle of the interview.
"Excuse me?" Shane asked, wide-eyed from the question that flew past his head. The interviewer chuckled.
"What's it like being a co-star with Ilya Rozanov?" she repeated.
"Well..." he started to say, straightening his back, trying not to have beads of sweat as his mind slipped long moments ago, drool webbing from where his co-star pulled back his kiss.
"He's...beguiling." Shane absentmindedly pinched his lower lip, remembering what used to be Ilya's spots for rough bites left on the soft flesh that matched the hidden ones under his clothes from the short moments they stole.

When Steve was eight, for one blissful summer he got to attend Hawkins Summer Camp as a camper. It was the best summer of his life. He never had another summer like it.
So when Dustin asked him, begged him really, to be a counselor at that same camp he figured why not. Then he thought about it harder. He thought about how his dad was forcing him to get a summer job anyway. He thought about how it could be fun, how it’d be nice to feel active, how it’d be cool to see Dustin happy and hang out with him. Then he thought about dark brown eyes. A goofy smile. The old friendship bracelet hidden in the bottom of his bedside drawer.
So he told Dustin an enthusiastic yes.
Or: Steddie were childhood friends for two months one year and now they meet again; at the same camp, ten years later, as counselors.
