    Summary

A place for the very short, unconnected ficlets that I write when I am overcome with emotions about the Hephaestus Crew. I might add more if the mood strikes me.

    1) "You Found Him?": Set during Sécurité. Eiffel is back. Minkowski tries to control her reaction.
    2) The First Hug and All The Hugs Before It: Minkowski hugs Eiffel for the first time after the memory wipe.
    3) Ground Beneath Our Feet: Post-canon, the Hephaestus crew have complicated feelings about Earth's gravity.
    4) "Are You Going To Care?": Set at the end of Need To Know. Minkowski considers how to deal with her new knowledge about Eiffel's past.
    5) Heart Still Beating: Towards the end of Let's Kill Hilbert, Minkowski inexplicably still feels on edge.

    Summary

Percy laid down, rolling to face the wall with his back to her. He didn’t know why it unnerved him so much, it wasn’t like they’d never slept in the same room before. Still, the silence wasn’t helping matters much.

Annabeth clicked off the lamp, shrouding the room in total darkness with only a slim line of light coming in above the curtains. If he could just keep his eyes closed for long enough, he’d have to fall asleep, right?
    -------

OR: Percy and Annabeth get stranded in the middle of nowhere overnight, resulting in a classic one bed trope but it's extremely FEELS-y because I don't know how to have fun
