The taste of Wiress still on his lips, Wyatt watched as an alarm sounded — prompting Wiress to get off the podium, finally breaking their embrace. After the glass encased him into the tube and he started to ascend, Wyatt could see Wiress mouthing out the words — “Please”. He knew what she was asking him for. “I'm sorry” — Wyatt replied, before being cut off entirely from her. They all had their wishes, and his was to get that tortured nameless girl alive. She deserved at least that bit, and he was going to try like hell to give it to her.
Wyatt Callow wins the 50th Hunger Games and it takes everything of him.
