There was no time to waste; many people would die this round, and Gi-hun prayed to whatever gods might be watching them for mercy. He glanced back at the group he had formed—Jung-bae was already gone. Thank God. He was safe.
Finally, he focused on the hand holding his arm, the grip so strong he swore the blood flow was cut off. He looked up at their face, the dark, short locks, those soft, endless eyes. It was 001.

Dean’s sitting at the kitchen table with Sam when his phone rings. Jody’s name flashes across the screen and he considers not picking up. It’s not like Dean doesn’t want to talk to Jody, it's just that he can’t bear talking to anyone these days.
“Hi, Jody,” Sam says.
“Howdy, boys.” She asks them to take over a case. Something about werewolves. Dean doubts they will, Sam hasn’t let him pick up a gun in months, not since their last hunt.
Jody’s voice cuts through the phone. “Alright, if you boys don’t wanna take the case, I’ll see if Castiel will, but I think he’s helping Claire in Colorado–”
Dean doesn’t hear a damn thing after that, and by the looks of it, Sam doesn’t either. For the first time in days, Dean opens his mouth and speaks. “Cas is alive?”
Jody’s voice is quiet on the other end. “He didn’t tell you?”

“You can’t be,” Thanos says, pawing at the sheets beneath him as if seeking escape. He looks really scared. It’s throwing Namgyu off. “You can’t…you’re not- What is this? What’s happening?”
“Thanos?” Namgyu asks.
Thanos’s eyes widen. “What?”
Shit. Something kind of fucked up must be happening. “You’re Thanos,” Namgyu says, not feeling all that sure of himself.
Thanos shakes his head. The hands still pawing at the sheets are trembling. “What are you talking about? No I’m not.”
Something really fucked up must be happening. “Then who are you?”
“Choi Subong.”

“That’s not the only event tonight. We have a celebrity performing. Did you not hear about this?” Se-mi asks him, raising an eyebrow after taking over the sink to wash her hands.
“A celebrity? Like… a celebrity singer or a celebrity dancer?” Nam-gyu asks.
“Neither. It’s some rapper. He’s got like…millions of followers on social media. Youtube, Instagram, Twitter. It was rumored he moved somewhere around here and has been performing at local clubs for fans.” Se-mi explains.
“A rapper?” Nam-gyu mumbles to himself as a couple walk up to the counter in front of him. “What’s his name?”
“I don’t know his real name…It’s not really listed anywhere. Or at least I couldn’t find it, but his rapper name is Thanos.”
A slowburn about how Nam-gyu, while not only battling an addiction, but both hiding his job as a bartender as well as taking care of his sickly mother, struggles with his newfound obsessed feelings for the famous celebrity rapper, and new best friend, Thanos.
