Ranma’s recently divorced from Akane, and, feeling very down, they wander onto Ryoga’s doorstep. Ryoga’s been feeling furiously lonely himself, and is happy for the company. Of course, neither of them knows how to communicate very well, so arguments ensue.
(I’m not following the movie that inspired this 100%, and there will be a fair amount of post ‘movie plot’ material.)
