Kaelix feels pure hatred for public transport and has decided he needs to learn to drive as soon as possible. After being recommended by his friend, he finds himself learning to drive with Zeal Ginjoka as his teacher. He only has six months before he has to pass the test, but obstacles keep getting in the way, and now he has an attractive instructor to deal with too. What could possibly go wrong?

Kaelix found the admission quite cute. However, a little devil on his shoulder also wondered what would happen if he prodded further—considering he’s never confronted this flavor of jealous Zeal before.

“Do you know how surprised I am?” Zeal drawled in a low, teasing tone. “I was just walking back from the restroom, and as I was about to turn the corner—boom! I suddenly learned that I’m apparently someone’s boyfriend.”
Zeal chuckled softly as he leaned closer, and Kaelix had to hold his breath because he was afraid that his chest might combust from the sheer tension.
“Did I miss something and start dating you without knowing it?”
Or: Kaelix wouldn’t have thought that when he lied through his teeth and claimed Zeal was his boyfriend, he’d have to deal with the consequences so soon.

Suddenly everyone averted their eyes. Phainon, clueless to what was going on, cocked her head to the side. “What about her?”
“Have you seen her?”
Phainon shook her head. “Not yet, no.”
A girl sitting opposite of her blushed a deep, deep red. She hid her face in her hands.
“You’ll know when you see her then,” someone in the back said, their gaze faraway. “The Crown Princess. That’s the true rite of passage in Castrum Kremnos.”
Every place had its rules, its unwritten traditions - getting tangled in Goldweaver's golden threads was one for okhemans, jumping off a tall cliff was one in Bulsa. For Castrum Kremnos, though, it was having an infatuation with their own Crown Princess apparently.
Phainon had quickly found out just how troublesome it was when she became one of the personal guards of that very princess. But Phainon was a professional. She'd never let her feelings get between her and her work, right?
