“Do you want yours seasoned?” Yuma mutters as he stirs the eggs in the pan.
Harua gets on his tiptoes to peek over his shoulder. “Hmm… unseasoned,” he decides.
Yuma gags. “Ugh, you’re repulsive.”
Harua shoves his shoulder and flops back into his seat. “If we’re judging each other’s preferences, then let’s talk about that guy you brought over last night.”
Yuma chuckles, voice deep and syrupy with the morning’s heaviness. “Jealous, bunny?”
OR, roommate: check. chemistry: unchecked. harua's life is practically over. (and, no, he isn't being dramatic.)

Once upon a time, Byun Euijoo saved the magical world. These days, he lives in a dingy one-bedroom apartment with his cat familiar Nicholas, and makes weird potions for a living.

“There you go.” Harua muttered, “But I’m in.”
“You are?” Yuma’s far too excited at the prospect of Harua accepting this slightly suspicious, no-thought-behind-it deal, practically climbing into his lap to wrap his arms around Harua’s neck like he was denied earlier. Harua could feel his excitement in the warmth of his cheeks against his own exposed shoulder, and he’d be lying if his heart wasn’t beaming at the thought of Yuma caring so much about his opinion.
Harua nodded against Yuma’s head, “I am. Whatever you want, I’ll do it.”
When Yuma approached Harua with a bet, he found himself agreeing despite his doubts. The reason was simple: Both of them wanted Nicholas, but only one of them could have him. Whoever won him over first would get to keep Nicholas all to themselves.
Where was the harm in a little healthy competition?
