Summary
Catra suddenly laughs, because what is she doing? She’s a closeted lesbian who hasn’t spoken to her family in years because of it, she’s struggling financially through grad school, she lives in a shitty apartment, and she’s just, essentially, offered to help a ghost figure out how to be a ghost.
But the hopeful look in Adora’s eyes is still there, and she’s wearing the first genuine smile Catra’s ever seen on her, and she’s almost blindsided by how beautiful Adora is.
So Catra nods and says, “yeah. I’ll help you figure it out,” because really, how hard can it be?
(Really, she has no idea what she’s getting herself into.)

Summary
Adora has just moved back to her hometown after a long, failed attempt at making it in the big leagues when she gets an unexpected invitation from her ex to join the local queer recreational baseball league.
There’s nothing wrong with a little friendly competition between exes, right? Adora and Catra may have failed at communicating in every other way, but they’ve always been completely fluent in baseball. It was their first language, after all. Plus, Adora already knows she’s going to love hoisting that championship trophy up over her head and rubbing it in Catra’s stupid gorgeous face when her team wins the league.

“I always keep my cool,” Adora huffed.
Catra laughed, “Whatever you say. Do I have your permission to tease you at least?” She lifted an eyebrow before she started shuffling through her own things and pulling out clothes.
Adora felt a weird mix of shame but also excitement claw its way to her heart, “Yeah,” She whispered, “Just like… Secretly, I guess.”

Summary
This is an alternative universe of Catra and Adora's love story. It references a lot of violence, abuse, overcoming PTSD and eventually finding/being able to believe in love once more. This is part 1 of a 2 part series. It's set in the present and has references to past experiences.
Catra was living the life of a bachelorette. She was partying, enjoying the single life, and sleeping with whatever woman she wanted to. Due to her dark and twisted past, she's never seen herself as someone that was capable of love, or one to be loved at all. She felt like love was hard, something that she wanted to stay far away from. That is until she meets a certain blue eyed girl, completely shattering her previous notions and touching her ice cold heart. Can Catra let this girl change her perception of love? Or will she go back to her olden ways of living her life closed off to the 'frivolous' feeling?

An alcoholic barely able to hold a job, coasting on the dwindling generosity of her colleague, Catra had long ago learned to hate herself and just about everyone else. However, there was an extra special bit of seething hatred locked away for the backstabbing blonde-haired bitch whose betrayal had hurt most of all. God save Adora if Catra ever found her again.
