Upon arriving back in Syngorn, Sildor calls the girl child to his side and says gravely, "My daughter, while I was gone I made arrangements for you to be married."
Vex'ahlia throws a chair through a window.
Or, the one where the Briarwoods never took over Whitestone, Thordak never destroyed Byroden, and two asshole nobles make a snap decision over whiskey. Percival struggles with his chronic emotional constipation and works on his tan, Vex'ahlia commits arson and sighs a lot, the de Rolo siblings win the award for Tal'Dorei's Least Helpful Peanut Gallery, and, eventually, there's a wedding. If they can all survive each other long enough to get to it.
