Summary
Viticulture - Noun. The cultivation and harvesting of grapes.
A poorly thought out vacation and a crashed car lands ex-FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft in the vineyards of the Dimitrescu winery, where Bela Dimitrescu is overseeing the operations in the area. While thankful for the assistance, Grace quickly realizes that leaving might not actually be that straightforward. And that maybe, just maybe, she doesn't want to.

A fantastic exploration of a rarepair that makes absolute sense and awakened my third eye. Possessive and mildly unhinged Bela vs anxious easily-attached Grace is a dynamic I stan. The writing style is great, strong characters and great pacing. A wonderful balance of love, lore and smut ✨

Summary
You stumble through the thick snow, broken and bleeding, pulled along by some imaginary string promising you safety. It's all you've ever wanted, isn't it? To belong, to feel the comfort of your loved ones. The feeling beckons you, calls your name, and you can't help but follow it. You never had a choice, did you?
Something seems to be missing as you spend your days inside the warmth of Castle Dimitrescu. You can't place it; you can't even remember why you were out in the freezing forest in the first place. You don't know why they're so intent on keeping you alive. Maybe you will, one day.
Surrounded by four women who could very well be the only ones to fully understand you... you've never felt more alone.

Summary
You don't worship Mother Miranda so, in theory, you should be dead. Are you dead? No, in fact, it's been eight years since you stopped worshipping her and you live rather contently on your little farm on the outskirts of the village.
So, now that we've established you don't make the smartest choices, when an injured murder of crows lands on your roof in the middle of the night, it's a little obvious as to what you do.
The only issue is, when you take in these birds out of the goodness of your heart, you realise three things.1. They're overly intelligent.
2. They're rather clingy.
3. Mother Miranda has missed the first service in decades.OR
Reader adopts a murder of crows only for it to be a very emotionally confusing priestess.

“She just walked out the store with a TV and insisted we call you.” The head security guard told Rio.
He opened a laptop and played her the footage.
“Right.” She rubbed her forehead. “Why would you do that?” She asked.
“I’ve been a bad girl, officer. You must arrest me.” Agatha replied in a breathy voice.
Of course, she would make a show of shoplifting a television just to flirt with her.

Summary
College was supposed to be a fresh start, a chance to figure out who you are and where you belong. But falling for your best friend's sister was never part of the plan. Neither was falling for her wife.
Between late-night talks, quiet moments that linger too long, and the fear of losing everything you care about, you begin to understand that love is rarely simple. It’s messy, beautiful, and sometimes the very thing that helps you find yourself.

Ch. 39 Preview: Something Money Can't Buy
“You do realize he was flirting with me, right?” you ask as she reaches toward the dashboard and brings the car to life.
“Of course,” she chuckles easily, shifting into drive. “One tends to attract attention when they possess something money can’t buy.”
“You’re insufferable,” you drone, flicking your hand at her even though you find the comment simultaneously sexy and sweet.

Summary
You knew you shouldn't have tried to take a shortcut back to the village that night. You were always told it was better to freeze than stray near Castle Dimitrescu. But, like a star doomed to fall into a black hole, you find yourself gravitating perilously close as you seek shelter from a sudden storm. Perhaps it would be better if the wolves found you first, rather than she who waits in the dark.

I read this forever ago when I joined the RE8 fandom, but it left an impact and I yearn for more — I will update this bookmark with more on my next re-read, but for now just know that it’s worth it. It is fantastic.
Edit: Having re-read it, I can’t recommend it enough. Each character has such a unique, strong personality and is so compelling in the way they interact. I adore how they all play against each other. The balance of lore, menace, humor and absurdity is amazing, truly nothing like it.

Bookmarker's Notes
This piece is so vivid and well-written that I cannot recover, the subject matter is dark so do mind the creator’s warnings, but they paint such a spectacular picture with their words that I’m in awe. Definitely recommend giving this a read. I adore the style.
An amazing excerpt:
In the afternoon light, Lady Dimitrescu is pale and colossal, indescribable, ten feet tall and stippled with gunshots—glacially slowly, she stands up, titanic and unleashed, and all around Evangeline, the guns stop going off. The men stop fighting. The shouting dies down, and all of it is replaced by a kind of prickling, deadblanket awe—because in this moment, Lady Dimitrescu is nothing but magnificent.
