Monokuma blinks. “Huh?” He along with the Monokubs, Kaede, and her classmates, all turn to the voice.
“Sh-Shuichi...?!” whispers Kaede. “What are you—"
“It was me,” Shuichi says again, shifting on the spot. “I did it. I uh... I killed Rantaro...”
The library is silent for a few moments.
Then all hell breaks loose.
Shuichi claims the First Blood Perk in Kaede's place, and in doing so, changes the entire course of the Killing Game. Different choices are made, new dynamics form, and, as per the rules, only two survivors can emerge from the world stained red with reality, and pink with delusion.

The air was sharp with dampness, the kind that seeped into your bones, making everything feel a little more miserable than it had any right to be. The drizzle was more of a constant mist, soaking through the collar of Johnny’s coat as he stepped off the red double-decker bus and onto the rain-slicked pavement.
The bus groaned away behind him, its tyre hissing on the wet road as it disappeared into the fog. He pulled his collar up higher around his neck, trying to shield himself from the wind that sliced through the streets like a knife. Great... another night in Manchester’s never-ending drizzle.

Him and Johnny were just messy people who found comfort in each other at very strange points in their respective lives. Morrissey was painfully aware of his own mortality. He knows he could never willingly give up Johnny. He was his drug of choice. Whilst Johnny drowned his guilt in alcohol and cheap blow, Morrissey would bury himself further in his work: writing song after song to rid himself of his wretched heart.
He was only human, therefore he was endlessly selfish.
