Summary
Mewtwo is feral, more a force of nature than a Pokémon. Purple veins spread all over its body beneath translucent skin, and strange tubes connect from its neck to its head. It’s utterly alien, the sight alone enough to freak Blue out.
It is also stronger than any singular Pokémon should ever be.

In order to deal with Mewtwo, Red and Blue enlist the help of a guiltridden Mr. Fuji. Together, they learn to forgive each other and themselves.

“I’ll tell it to you straight. Geeta’s offerin’ you a spot as a Gym Leader.” Ryme said. “The Glaseado Gym has been empty since Juan moved to Hoenn. Not got any settlement round it like mine, but somethin’ tells me you’re better suited for that anyway.”
Taking on the role of Gym Leader would mean that he would be able to battle, day in and day out, with his new team. The tempestuous storm that he had only been able to let loose during that battle with Geeta would have countless opportunities to rage free, filling him with that very same heady rush of glee and frenetic action.
It would mean returning to the pursuit that had given him life, yet the same one that had taken it away.
After his journey in Kanto reached its ultimate conclusion, Red's panicked flight from civilisation lands him on a very different mountain. Halfway across the world, where his fame hopefully has yet to spread, he attempts to rebuild.
Blue follows anyway.

Summary
