“Okay, so there was a potion,” Harry admitted, “which I didn’t dodge in time. But I’ve spent all afternoon getting looked at by the department medics, and they’ve all said it’s harmless. It just removes my inhibitions for a while, like being drunk but without the hangover. It’s pretty nice, actually. I feel like I can do anything.”
Sirius breathed out. Alright, so Harry was a bit addled, but it would wear off eventually.
“Shouldn’t you be at home sleeping it off?” He said.
Harry shrugged. He still hadn’t moved back any further. “It was so quiet at home. I decided I wanted to come here instead.”
Sirius smiled despite himself and raised his eyebrows. “Missed my bark?”
Harry frowned faintly. “Because I like you,” he said, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.
