Secret bumps against each other's hands, longing looks shot across the cafeteria, always so distant and nervous, yet definitely there.
All of their contact being distant and cool was suddenly broken one night with three quiet knocks on Izuku’s door."
OR: Katsuki and Izuku start having sleepovers to quell the nightmares that plague their traumatized minds, and maybe sort of fall in love in the process.

Midoriya tells them everything. He’s a sharer. It’s what they do.
They discuss everything. So certainly, if Midoriya has a boyfriend, Tenya and Urakaka would already know.
“I don’t know, but maybe you should ask him.” Todoroki shrugs, and turns his focus to his yakisoba.
There must be a clause somewhere in the manual on friendship that you cannot not tell your best friends that you have a significant other.

Summary
I discovered there were no BakuDeku fics under the 'Spider-Man Kiss' tag and said, "fine, I'll do it myself".
Izuku eventually develops Blackwhip, but he doesn't tell anyone. Instead, he uses it as a quirk for a second identity of sorts, vigilantism becoming a nightly routine. It doesn't take long for Katsuki to get into trouble, and Izuku will always be there when Katsuki is in trouble.
This is almost completely from Katuski's point of view, but the summary honestly makes more sense focused on Izuku so there we go.I took the balcony rescue from the first Spider-Man, plus the classic upside down kiss and said, "now make it BakuDeku".

Summary
It's actually a little awkward to be in love with your sort-of-friend at seventeen and sixteen respectively; forget the fact that you fight and bleed in the name of heroism on a near-daily basis, or the fact that one of you has quite literally died for the other.
It's with time, and through conversations, in-between kisses that go from hesitant to instinctive, that things shift.
