Summary
One of the great untold stories in the Trek canon is the fall of the Tarsus Colony, where Kodos the Executioner put four thousand innocents to death. Other than its appearance in "The Conscience of the King," the Tarsus Massacre is mentioned only one other time in canon: a biographical screen in "In a Mirror, Darkly," states that Hoshi Sato was one of the victims of the massacre. While some stories have explored Tarsus, none, to my knowledge, have recounted how Hoshi met her fate there. It always seemed to me that there HAD to be a story there. Eventually, I wrote it.

Most times little Elizabeth Tucker, or Bitsie as Trip had taken to calling her, was either in sickbay where Phlox doted on her like a grandfather or she was with her parents. Once T’Pol had held her daughter on her lap while a red alert was sounding off. Jon had no clue how Bitsie had slept through that, but boy was he glad she had.
Jon paused for a moment as he looked at Trip.
It was so entirely odd, but as he watched Trip talk with a big grin on his face even with dark bags under his eyes, it was all too fitting.
