You don’t know what you expected when the Pines’ pulled you aside after a tutoring lesson but it wasn’t a job offer. Sure, with Gravity Falls High basically kicking you out of your rooms, a steady gig would be great. Only you didn’t expect to wind up tutoring Dipper and Mabel full time while moving into the shack.
But your friends are all getting married and being in your late twenties, this seems better than unemployment.
That does not mean you expect to find your place in the Pines family as though that was where you were always meant to be.
