Summary
“It’s publicly known you’re here, darling,” Zhongli murmurs. “Therefore, I work.”
“The deal is to keep me safe. That’s our contract. As soon as you’re fulfilling your part of it, we’re fine, hm?” Ajax points out, tilting his head to the side. His eyebrows quirk—it’s when Zhongli realises it’s a sudden whim, a random idea to prove his point and drown into semantics.
Zhongli sighs.
Ajax grins. Cheeky, carefree, invincible.
It's the weather. Ajax’s skin glistens in the warm lights, his tilted head casts shadows on his shoulder, bringing Zhongli's gaze to his collar. A black necklace of good quality leather, everyone should think. The knowledge that Zhongli’s leash could easily slip through the collar’s hidden buckle, means world to Ajax.
Or: Childe sinks into the subspace in public and Zhongli rewards him.

Summary
But… It stings. Sometimes. Too often.
And when it does, he finds himself here, pushing through the crowd, letting a laughing man with a glitter on his eyelids kiss him deeply, until Mydei disappears in a more secluded area.
The moans here are loud almost enough to muffle the music. It reeks beautifully; like sweat, cum and sex, and a tickling nose mix of perfumes. He passes by the boxes, unnoticed. All these men are focused on themselves, after all, and their souls sucked through their dicks. Mydei doesn’t stare, doesn’t play a cuckold that nobody asked for—but it’s enough to be here for the heat to pool low in his abdomen, for his mouth to water.
His body relaxes, giving in to the rhythm of the drowned beats, the raw sounds of pleasure, the filth of it all.
Mydei frequents glory holes. Phainon, not so much.

Summary
“(…) while pacing casually between the round tables with two or three chairs at most, grinning at the staff and guests alike, he gathered enough insight into the purpose of this nice charity event. In the last six months of this operation, he had learnt (more than) a few things about Rex Lapis—first, he was obsessed with Liyue. Second, despite this, he used every opportunity to gain something. Exchange, he liked to say. But the exchange was never equal.
What is happening behind the generous façade of a charity event? Closing deals with all those invited Snezhnayan oligarchs and Liyuean politicians? Or are they simply cleaning their hands by making unnecessarily high bids during the auction?”
Six months ago, Fatui's attempts to eliminate Rex Lapis began—from plots to disrupt his work to assassination attempts. After six months, Tartaglia decides that he is the only competent person to take down the man.
Unfortunately, the self-proclaimed king of Liyue prefers to date Childe, instead of letting him do his job properly.

Summary
“Stop being annoying and better tell me what these ruins are. Have you researched them?”
“Yes,” Alhaitham—as usually—answered only the direct question, but Kaveh decided to not bend to his wish. Instead, he crossed his arms over his chest, raised his eyebrows and waited. Alhaitham sighed so deeply that it was hard for Kaveh to believe he didn’t inhale sand—it would totally happen to him. “Faruzan mentioned them to one of her students. I was curious.”
Alhaitham dared to shrug while admitting to eavesdropping their senior and using the knowledge for his own gain in one sentence. Kaveh stared. For a second or two, before admitting defeat and his own curiosity.
“Summarising— you know nothing about it, except for the fact that a brilliant researcher who was trapped in ruins for a century has knowledge about them.”
“In short.” Alhaitham nodded and, clearly, took it as a sign of Kaveh’s approval, turning his back on Kaveh and strolling to the ruins as if they were in Sumeru City.
“Brilliant,” Kaveh muttered, rolling his eyes, but he, too, resumed the hike to the ruins.
Alhaitham must ruin Kaveh's trip to the desert. That's it; that's the story.
