Dana blows out a cloud of smoke, which Jack summarily waves away from his face with a faint look of distaste.
“I’ve known you two assholes for too long.”
It must be a revelation to the table, given the haughty look Robby offers her and the way Jack raises just one brow.
“That sounds like a threat,” Robby says, and briefly, he glances at Abbot, who merely shrugs, although it's not quite casual as he sets an arm against the back of Robby’s chair next to him.
“You know that if you bolt, I will find you, right?” Jack says, and it's enough to pull a laugh out of Dana.
“I’m counting on it.”

Summary
Jack’s mouth feels dry all of a sudden and he’s got half a mind on how extremely fuckable Robby looks about now, and idly he daydreams about it. He’s somewhere between wondering if his legs were as damn long as they look and if he can convince Robby to put his book review on hold on hold for the morning so Jack can blow him when the bubble pops the moment he catches the expectant look on Robby’s face as he raises his brows and looks over at him.
“-You rescheduled that PT appointment?”
Jack blinks, swallows some, and as he snaps back to focus, he’s treated to the look of bemused curiosity that crosses Robby’s face.
“Ground control to Major Tom?”

Jack and Robby share a look. "Dennis," Robby starts. "We've been talking this morning and - you're welcome to stay as long as you like."
Dennis blinks. "That's - that's really kind of you, but I shouldn't impose. I can be out of here by the end of the week."
"Do you actually have anywhere to go?" Jack asks, more sharply than he intended.
Dennis hesitates, then shakes his head, eyes fixed on the table. "No, sir."
Jack's face softens. "Listen, kid, I'm not a Corporal anymore - you can just call me Jack off-shift, alright?" Jack waits until Dennis nods to continue. "As for staying here, you're not imposing, okay. Robby and I are offering."
Dennis sucks in a breath. "I don't - I don't understand why, though."
"Why?" Robby repeats. "Because you're in a tough spot, and we can help."

Or, Dennis comes to Pittsburgh homeless and disowned by his family. Little by little, he finds a place he can call home again.

Then, three nights after the Pittfest disaster, Robby wakes up in a cold sweat, dimly aware that he has just had a sex dream about Jack fucking Abbot.
