Summary
At just 6 years old, Kagami Taiga finds himself on a street court, where he meets a somewhat grumpy but incredibly talented 14-year-old teenager, who reluctantly agrees to teaching him the ropes of the game. A single summer afternoon turns into many more and two strangers grow into an unlikely friendship.
This story follows Kagami and Aomine through the years, as they each navigate their respective challenges of growing up, of pursuing their dreams and even of falling in love.

Summary
Aomine Daiki, a 16-year-old juvenile offender, is sent to the US by his parents as a last resort to get him away from everything that’s corrupted him. Away from friends and the metropolis Tokyo that’s had everything to offer (his parents’ money, alcohol, sex, drugs, or whatever else his heart so desired), he lands himself in a shithole that’s earned its name: Bland, Missouri.
Kagami Taiga, 18, has spent nearly all his life in Missouri and hardly knows what life is like away from the little town of roughly 500 citizens (population declining). Son to a loving Japanese woman and a hardworking American father, he can't help but feel drawn to the new, strange (and decidedly rude) kid at his school.
In a place where everyone knows your name, two vastly different lives collide. As conflict turns to connection, their bond might just be what saves them both.

As a grease monkey turned college freshman, Dean's constantly three seconds away from being stressed out of his mind. It hardly helps that he's finally figuring out his sexuality in his thirties.
What might help with that stress is a little phone number (and a big credit card bill). If he can't figure out how to be bisexual in person, he can at least give it a go over the phone, right?
(It's probably a bad idea, but he really can't help himself.)
