Summary
In a city where neon never fades and acid rain corrodes both metal and soul, Park Seonghwa — a cybernetic mercenary with lethal beauty and a damaged shell — crawls into the most dangerous workshop in the Red Sector.
There, among grimy tools and razor-sharp sarcasm, waits Kim Hongjoong: a brilliant, cynical mechanic who’s viscerally opposed to everything Seonghwa stands for.
Wounded inside and out, Seonghwa seeks repair — but what he finds is laced with tension, barbed words, and a desire burning beneath layers of hatred and steel. As wires reconnect and hearts beat between sparks, the two men walk the razor’s edge between violence and seduction.

Summary
The Covenant of the Moon has sworn a vow of peace and serene worship to the moon goddess. Its temples offer shelter and guidance to all those lost at sea and shed their healing light upon those fearing the darkness.
Seonghwa's tabernacle saw various raids throughout the years. Fought off bandits and other burglars seeking treasure in sacred halls. Though no warriors, they always maintained the tranquil promises of the moon.
Under its blessing, they've been feeling safe for a while.
Until a foreign ship anchors at their harbour, sailing a black flag with a white skull on it.

Summary
As a volunteer for a government programme that matches submissives in need with an appropriate dominant, Kim Hongjoong gets assigned Park Seonghwa's case.
Classed a brat, the cartoonist seems somewhat of a mystery. He's gone through more than a dozen dominants during his two years with the programme, yet his file is suspiciously clear of punishment slips or official write-ups. In Hongjoong's experience, that means either that a sub is so vanilla and obedient that doms get bored and ask for a transfer or that the sub is absolute hell on wheels and doms ask to transfer out without even trusting themselves to hand out an appropriate punishment.
His first meetings with Seonghwa seem to indicate the former and he soon becomes attached to the sweet, friendly sub. He is easy to work with, communicative and an absolute joy during their weekly scenes.
But everything is not as it seems.
Seonghwa might appear perfect on the outside, but behind the carefully constructed mask he is hiding years of severe anxiety and turmoil.
And under Hongjoong's loving, gentle dominance, the mask begins to crack and splinter.Bookmarked by seongphobia

Summary
Seonghwa saw him across the mud, pissing beneath a willow tree with his back turned. The man who killed his friend. Branches wept around his shoulders, long leaves brushing the nape of his neck like fingers.
Then he looked up.
“We have to stop meeting like this.”
Seonghwa’s heart kicked. He was caught, but it was the man’s tone that gave him pause. “Was that a joke?”
“Yeah, I guess it was,” he said. The sharp slope of his nose caught the dappled light as he tucked himself into his wool trousers. “If I see you again, pretty boy, I’ll kill you.”
Ten words. But Seonghwa only heard five.
See you again, pretty boy.

Summary
"Please don’t let him see me. Please."
The words cracked in the air desperately. But the man in glasses didn’t flinch. There was no response, no softening, no flicker of hesitation in the set of his jaw.
"Please, San."
The name was a whisper of a memory—once spoken in laughter, in trust. Now, it was shaped by terror.
"You’ve known me for so long. Don’t give me to him.”
Bound hands strained, reaching for something in San that might still remember who they once were. But San remained motionless, his expression remained impenetrable, a wall of resolve where there should have been empathy.
“Please. I’m sorry. Please.”
The words fell apart, one after the other, like a man unraveling at the feet of someone who used to care.
