Summary
Ian is desperate to get away from his high stress life for a while. He's unhappy, unfulfilled, and coming unglued. He's desperate for a change, but doesn't know how to make it happen.
Mickey's life might be a mess, but at least he knows where he stands in the world. He knows he's a nobody. He's made peace with his lot in life, and refuses to apologize or feel sorry for himself. Nothing is ever going to change, and Mickey has to accept that.
A chance meeting in the Stargazer Motel parking lot might just change everything, after all...
