Summary
Princess Roslyn of Nysa was technically not a princess, not anymore. She hadn’t been in a long time. The only thing that was holding her to her kingdom was an oath as a Paladin, forced upon her for a tragedy she had desperately tried to fix. But since Nysa fell in a blaze of destruction, Roslyn abandoned any sense of responsibility, getting lost in the cacophony of people in Baldur’s Gate. That was, until she was plucked from the street and had a damn tadpole forced into her brain. Now she has to figure out how the hells to get it out, if she can learn to trust again, and just how far she is willing to push her oath to get what she needs. Oh, and not fall for the ruby-eyed vampire who was meant to only be a distraction from the looming doom.

Summary
“Tempting not to bite you and draw a full meal, but I do need you alive. For now, anyway.”
He could do it, his fangs are so very close to your neck. One little lash outward and you’d be resisting a slow and chilling demise. But you see through the arrogance in his eyes. He doesn’t need you to find traps or lead you through treachery. He doesn’t need you to find a cure to your shared mindflayer predicament. No, he doesn’t need you for anything. In his eyes that hunger persists, and you realize he simply needs you.
///
You and Astarion are trapped alone. You're bleeding. He's a vampire. The sexual tension is palpable. You know what happens next, darling.

Summary
“Stealthily or not, I still would have known you were coming.” Kira stated simply. Astarion scoffed, though uncertain why exactly he was offended. It must have been the way she said it - the same way she says everything - as absolute fact. He would have preferred her words be laced with venom, at least then he would know whether he was supposed to be hurt by them or not. Gods, how he would love to sink his teeth into her throat and end this charade.
Instead, Astarion let out a casual chuckle, “Is that so?” He inquired, “I think you may be underestimating my talents, dear.”
“Or you are overestimating them.”It's official, Astarion thought, he has decided that he hates her.
--
Astarion has never met anyone more of a challenge than Kira Sunsoul. The blind monk of Lathander could not be any further from a sunny disposition. With his usual arsenal of good looks and smooth remarks utterly ineffective, Astarion and Kira become entangled in a complex battle of wits, determined to get what they want from one another without getting too close.
They both fail horribly.

Summary
Astarion and Nyana come dangerously close to a physical confrontation over the group’s tadpole consumption policies. Later that day, conveniently for Astarion, Nyana gets incredibly, violently sick. But even when he is presented with the perfect opportunity to get his way—with or without the self-righteous sorcerer’s approval—Astarion hesitates. Again. And again. For reasons he must not, shall not, cannot dwell on.
