“You’re so dumb,” Alex laughs, “are you saying fuck fate?”
Thomas pauses for a second thinking about how long he’s been waiting, thinks about how many people he’s come across. None of them quite made him pine or feel the way he does for Alex. He doesn’t think he’d ever wanna give it up. The way Alexander knows how to keep up with him in a fight, the way he matches his intelligence, the way he isn’t afraid to speak his truth like so many people in this world are. Thomas doesn’t think anyone could come close to that so,
“Yeah,” he finally speaks up, “fuck fate.”
Or the one where you've only seen black and white for your entire life, until you receive the first touch from your soulmate and color blooms before your very eyes.
