In all honesty, she wanted to live with Kim. They'd been friends for years, really similar and really close. Kim wanted Aubrey out of that house as much as Aubrey herself wanted to leave. Whether it was with her mother or her father, she'd probably put up a massive fight just for Aubrey to be allowed to stay. She tried to listen as much as she could.
