Summary
There is a world where a prophecy goes unheard. A world where a boy is never orphaned, where he grows up safe and loved, rather than in a cupboard under the stairs.
But in that world, Harry Potter died in 1991—killed in what became known as the Hogwarts Express Massacre, along with every child who was supposed to attend Hogwarts that year. The war did not end, but it shifted, forcing both sides to set aside their differences against two common enemies: Gellert Grindelwald and Albus Dumbledore.
Seven years later, during a memorial for the children lost that day, the dead return. But not as ghosts. They are flesh and blood. They are seven years older and ripped from a world that's only just beginning to recover from its own war.
And the families who mourned them must now face the mirrors of the children they lost—and the strangers they’ve become.

Summary
The first two nights, Harry sleeps like the dead— or, well, maybe that's not the best comparison, given the number of inferi attacks reported lately.
He sleeps like a log. Like a dead log. An un-re-animated dead log. From an everyday, inanimate, non-whomping tree.
After that, Harry wakes up screaming more nights than not, and he even cries on the bad ones, which makes James cry too. In this regard, James reckons that his first week of parenting a full-grown teenage adult bears an awful lot of resemblance to parenting a newborn baby. He feels both blessed and terrifyingly out of his depth.

Summary
The solicitor cleared her throat. “Mrs Tonks has named joint magical guardians for Edward Remus Lupin.”
Silence descended upon the room so abruptly that even the ticking of the mantle clock seemed suddenly deafening. Surely this was merely a formality, and she needed to read off the entirety of the will before getting to the part where Hermione inherited some precious old books or other sentimental items.
The witch adjusted her spectacles and read aloud: “Hermione Jean Granger and Draco Lucius Malfoy.”

Summary
Hermione Granger wakes in 1954 with a new name, a pureblood family she wasn't born into, and a brother who spends the summer teaching her how to survive in a world that would destroy her if it knew what she was.
Then she finds Tom Riddle - not a monster, not yet a Dark Lord. Brilliant, controlled, charming in ways that don't match anything she expected. Dumbledore raised him here. Loved him. And maybe that changed everything. Maybe the thing she feared doesn't exist in this world.
She wants to believe that. She's starting to.
But her brother watches her too closely for a man who calls her a duty. And Tom - who notices everything about everyone - has already noticed that she doesn't fit the patterns he uses for everyone else.
And the dates are wrong, the history doesn't match, and nobody will tell her how she got here or why.
Some choices are made. Others are engineered.

Summary
Hermione Granger’s current favourite book is undoubtedly Agrippan Arithmancy and Its Applications.
… And it’s definitely a book on arithmancy and not a smutty romance novel with a transfigured cover.
Her colleague and cheeky nuisance Draco Malfoy is determined to find out why a book about arithmancy of all things has got her so flustered.
A little bit of book espionage later, and things spiral slightly out of control when Draco and Hermione find themselves sucked into the book. The only way out? Act out all the tropes (and try to not fall in love in the process).
This is a slow burn, sort-of-enemies to lovers fic (they're not really enemies, they just really like annoying each other). It's heavy on dialogue and banter, isn't overly angsty, and is, of course, packed to the brim with all our favourite tropes.
