Summary
After Quentin Beck dies, Peter’s identity is revealed to the world and he finds himself thrown in jail, awaiting trial for a murder he did not commit. Despite his pleas that Spider-Man doesn’t kill, no one but his close family and friends believe him.
His powers stripped by a power dampener that renders him as weak as he was before the bite, Peter now has to survive in jail, where nearly everyone seems to dislike him. Only the friendship of a boy named Harley and his weekly visits with Tony, May and Pepper keep him going.
Will his all-star attorney be able to get a jury to find him not guilty, or will Peter be spending the rest of his life in prison?

Summary
With the UN and the Avengers unable to come to a compromise on the Sokovia Accords, Thaddeus Ross takes matters into his own hands.
Now instead of being controlled by a UN board, each Avenger has their own handler. They all hate their handlers, but Peter’s handler is cruel and anti-superhero. He punishes Peter daily, and soon those punishments turn to physical abuse.
Peter is strong. He’s Spider-Man, after all. But can he keep himself from crumbling when his handler is determined to beat him down?

She heard Frank’s sharp intake of breath. When he next spoke, she could hear the frown in his voice.
“Robby, I’m- please, I’m sorry, man.”
She didn't know what exactly Frank was begging for. She just knew she didn't like it when he sounded like this.
“Then do better.”
For a second, Heather thought she may have misheard. Robby wouldn’t- Robby would never speak to anyone like that. But then again, Frank was never just ‘anyone’ to him.

It seems to hit him very suddenly, and the flinch Frank gives at his boss’ tone is very real. “You were working on this fever.”
“Uh… didn’t realize at the time.”
“Yeah, I’m sure.” Robby sighs, the gesture terrifying in ways Frank doesn’t know he can explain. He’s not a child, but he’s suddenly ten and his father’s home from work early. “This isn't just about you now, Langdon, it’s affecting other people. You can’t keep this tough guy thing going and expect it not to backfire.”
It nearly knocks the breath out of him. The shame that sits in his lungs is usually his own; he’s lucky to make up most of Robby’s disappointment himself. It’s been a few weeks since he’s seen it so clearly. “I’m not trying to,” he admits, voice cracking with the weight. “To… to tough it out. I’m not.”
Frank's sick, and Robby learns why that's so much more difficult now.
