Summary
nathaniel wesninski was the first child to play exy alongside riko moriyama — but he was never riko’s partner in the way that kevin would become years later. There is no amusement in his eyes when he scrawls a 0 on the other boy’s cheek; it’s done with a whispered declaration of, “you are nothing.”
zero, number 0, has no last name nor partner, or role on the court. he stands stoic and still through riko’s daily violence, he slips into whatever position is demanded on him and pretends not to hear the other ravens whispering that he is nothing.
neil josten debuts as the edgar allan raven’s 00, a number found on no other exy team and with a talent unmatched by any other ncaa player. his stats sheet claims that he can play as any position and he can, he remains on the court for the entirety of the game and plays like he’s a ghost, dancing around the edge of his opponent’s visions.

Summary
kevin does not speak about the fourth member of the perfect court often; it happened first in the whimpering repetition of a number, then in a drunken confession at a nightclub, then in a fearful whisper in wymack’s living room, then a drunken recounting of events after a disastrous talk show appearance, then on a bus on the way to the fall banquet. all said, andrew feels that despite the handful of conversations he's had about the man, he's justified in feeling floored the first time they make eye contact.

March 9th from Nathan's perspective — or how a momentary lapse in judgement, a paranoid suspicion and a self-inflated ego saved Neil Josten's life.
This is so unserious.

Summary
The first time that Harry tore someone's head from his body, he swore to himself that it would be the only time. That doesn't seem to matter when he keeps finding himself in danger.
AKA: The dragel discord was talking about Harry clawing Snape and this is what my brain created.

Summary
'Aaron should have known something was going on with Andrew when he had agreed to change their deal. It had taken Aaron months to build up the nerve to demand to be let out of it, determined to keep Katelyn no matter what. In the spring of their freshmen year at Palmetto, Aaron finally approached the subject, cornering Andrew in their shared kitchen and laying out his terms. He was not expecting Andrew’s counteroffer: sessions with Dobson once a week and an understanding that if anything happened with Katelyn, Andrew would step in.
Thoughts of Katelyn, of not having to hide her anymore, took up all the space in Aaron’s mind and he never wondered why Andrew would have relented so easily.
Looking back, it should have been obvious what was going on.'OR

Summary
“Josten,” Andrew snaps the moment Neil picks up the phone, “are you trying to get me fired?”
“You did say that you wanted a challenge,” comes Neil’s smug, tinny voice. “It’s not my fault you didn’t know what you were signing up for.”
“A challenge,” Andrew repeats, “Not a one-way ticket to death-threat island when that idiot’s fans find out I’m the one responsible for your mouth.”
“Aww,” Neil coos, “You can’t take a few death threats? That’s cute.”

Summary
I’m Lying: A ‘Memoir’ by N. Wetskanky
In the 12 years that Nathan Wesenski was active, he, and the cult he maintained, were responsible for over fifty confirmed murders, with the actual number of murders estimated to be in the hundreds. Nicknamed “The Butcher of Baltimore” by friends, colleagues, and weirdos online, Wesenski was famous for his use of butcher knives and subsequent cannibalism of his victims. Once he was arrested after the murder of his wife, Mary Hatford, Wesenski was sentenced to death at the Chicago state prison. Survived by his reformed cult members and his only child, the story of Nathan Wesenski has gripped the nation. Now, years after the death of his father, the son of the Butcher breaks his silence; in a fake and upsettingly vague account of his childhood, N. Wetskanky doesn’t tell the story of life under one of America’s most notorious murderers.
