Summary
Dorian wasn’t sure why he was defending so hard; he knew his value went beyond his ability to kiss and how well he did. It wasn’t even that important to him. But in this drunken state, the need to prove that he was capable, to pretend he hadn’t been so sheltered, took over.
OR
5 times Dorian kissed someone + 1 time he actually started to fall in love (based off of Robbie's fireside chat answers)

“I’ll let you keep the blanket on.”
Kaoru sighed dramatically.
“And I’ll make you coffee. And breakfast.”
A pause. Kaoru seemed to mull it over. But he’d already made up his mind.
“Fine. Now put me down.”
God, Kojiro could kiss him.

Summary
“Here!” Clay said, stopping at a good hill in the park. The sky was clear and the stars were bright, and it was the perfect place to sprawl out a blanket and stargaze for an hour. He turned to grin at Apollo. “I just wanna get some Apollo-time in before I blast off,” he laughed.
The brunette rolled his eyes, but he smiled back and finally settled down onto the blanket. Yeah, he couldn’t fight that. Being apart from Clay so long with no contact would be really unusual. He could go to the space center and ask to send messages up periodically, but it’s not the same as having his best friend show up to his apartment every day, having him practically living with him.
OR
A journey through Clay and Apollo’s friendship, and how Apollo dealt with his loss.

Summary
Finally, Orym speaks. A hushed confession, not trembling but not quite steady either. “I feel so tired, Dorian.”
A few months ago, Dorian would not have understood. Would have tried. Would have known, at least, that Orym does not mean that he’d like to sleep. Now he knows more than that. Knows it is a physical exhaustion tied to something heavier, more whole. Bone deep in the sense that the marrow is where love lives, achy in the sense that the marrow is where loss lives, too.
Tired from the restlessness of trying to fill something that will always be hollowed.
His answer now is the same as it would have been then. “Rest awhile,” he murmurs. “I’ll carry it for you.”
How does one lay down a sword? How does one forgive the unforgiveable? How does one love things that are bound to leave? Orym is meant to have the answers and he doesn’t. Dorian won’t ask him the questions, anyways.
The days after were easy but the year after aches. They face it together, just the same.
