Summary
“I will agree to your terms, if you give me him,” Kinn suddenly says, alerting Porsche and catching his interest. He apparently hasn’t been as focused on the negotiations as he had thought. He got lost in his mind and now he doesn’t know what’s going on.
“Him?” King Kan asks, incredulously. “Who do you mean?”
“That general in the corner,” Kinn says and it takes Porsche a moment to realize the man is pointing at him. And when he does, his heart plummets right to his stomach. “I want him and in exchange I will sign the peace treaty.”
Porsche can’t even name the emotions going through him right now. The shock is too big to even comprehend what’s happening.
“You want to marry him?” King Kan asks, shooting a lazy look at Porsche, like he’s appraising his worth. It makes something very unpleasant crawl up Porsche’s spine.
“Of course not,” Kinn answers like it’s ridiculous to even suggest such a thing. And it is. The heir to the throne would never marry a commoner like Porsche. Doesn’t matter that he’s a general now. “He’ll warm my bed.”
