"No, it wasn't that kind of dream."
"What happened then?" Yechan asks, nudging Sangyeop's arm with his own.

When Sangyeop opens his eyes again, Yechan gives him a final assessing look, adjusting his hair one more time.
“Will you let me put a little makeup on you too?”
“Makeup?”
“Yeah. Just a little bit of foundation and concealer. You don’t need a lot.”
“If you want,” Sangyeop says, agreeing to Yechan’s whims. Then he jokes, “You won’t make me look like a clown, will you?”
“Why would I do that!” Yechan complains. He gives Sangyeop’s shoulders a small smack. Sangyeop laughs at him, his eyes crinkling. “You’re going as my date, after all. I have to make sure you look good.”

Yechan needs a fake date for his brother’s wedding. Sangyeop is the obvious choice.

The truth is, he has yet to consider this an option. The idea of Bokuto sitting beside his mom, the former filled with naive praise, while the latter in quiet disdain, fills Akaashi with dread.
"I am sure he's the type to bring a large bouquet of flowers,” one friend suggests, “and balloons,” another adds.
"Bokuto-san seems like the type to propose during graduation."
Akaashi freezes.
Nearing the end of his university life, Akaashi overthinks writing, commitment, and Bokuto.

“As long as your snoring really isn’t as bad as before, we’ll be fine,” Sangyeop teases.
“Yah!” Yechan sits up, looking indignant. “It really has gotten better! It’s not nearly as loud as it was when we all lived together!”
“Whatever you say!”
Yechan swipes at him, batting his arm. Sangyeop retaliates by using both hands to push him over, laughing as Yechan squawks and flops backward onto the bed.
Yes, he thinks. It’ll be fine. It’s just Yechan, who pulls silly faces and snores even though he says he doesn’t anymore and makes Sangyeop feel like he’s a kid again, without the worries of adulthood. Someone he has seen almost every day for the past five years, who’s close enough to be family. There shouldn’t be any reason why they can’t share a bed.

After Wonsang enlists, Yechan and Sangyeop go on a trip together.
