Summary
See, Ben had died once. It was damn nice, or it would’ve been if any of his family had let him move on to the afterlife. Who’s he kidding? Ben hadn’t even let himself go up without saying goodbye.
Point being, Johnny had stared at Ben with a fiery determination afterward telling him he wasn’t allowed to go damn near anywhere unless Johnny said so. Ben had raised an eyebrow at the outburst, finding Johnny to be a bit selfish for not wanting Ben to experience the great beyond for himself. Back then, Ben saw it as a sign of his youth, a lack of understanding Johnny had regarding the weight of their circumstances.
And then Johnny had stared down waves of enemies who'd never stop, he'd been pulled apart and killed right before Ben's eyes, and Ben can't ever believe he'd been as selfish as to think that Johnny didn't understand the weight of the world they walked in.

What's supposed to be a quick open shut case ends with the both of them falling in far too deep, and it's up to Stephanie to claw them out before it's too late.
Two wayward Robins find themselves far from the nest. Now, they have to work together to get back home in one piece.

She turns to Jing Yuan this time because if the answer to her question lies anywhere, it is him.
"Where are Dan Heng and Stelle?"
Jing Yuan's eyes answer her before his voice does. She knows it'll be like this before the words even leave his mouth, but it hurts to hear all the same. The thought is so unbearable that the emotion bursts in her, fireworks of anger and sadness sparking in her vision.
Dan Heng and Stelle are trapped in the Shackling Prison, and at this point, it almost feels like it's March's job to worry.

“This is your third existential crisis this year,” Hal replies, but he gets into the Lamborghini and pulls out his phone to text Carol about missing work, because who is he to say no to putting a dent in Bruce Wayne's wallet?

Needless to say, things don't quite go to plan. They never do when Fairy Tail is involved.
