Summary
Kuroo Tetsurou had always had an addictive personality, as a kid he’d latch on to anything that brought him any semblance of a distraction from his messy home life. It started simple with something as innocent as volleyball, practicing for hours on end, watching games in his downtime, hell everything he did, even his friendships, revolved around volleyball. So it shouldn't have been that surprising how quickly his life began to fall apart when that all ended.

“Your thoughts are so loud,” Hajime mumbled beside him, his voice lazy with exhaustion that Oikawa couldn’t relate to.
“Sorry, must be the fact that I’m sleeping shirtless next to a stranger in a strange house in the middle of nowhere,” Oikawa bit back instinctually.
Hajime just snorted at him, as if he was making a joke. “‘S’not that bad. Who knows? Maybe a bit of the country life could do you some good.”
“Yeah? According to who?”
“Well you did run away from home,” Hajime pointed out, and, well, yeah, Oikawa couldn’t really argue with that point. “B’sides, doesn’t seem like life has treated you too kindly so far. Change of scenery might not be the worst thing in the world.”
