“It’s not that bad, actually,” Will says, with a smile Mike can tell is just a bit forced. “We are both tall enough, so we still should be able to see fine.”
But looking at the people in front and around him, Mike knows that Will would have to be on his tiptoes to really see the stage, and would end up watching the show mostly from the big screens. A good boyfriend wouldn’t let that happen.
“Or…” Mike starts, with a face Will learned to fear as it would usually preface the worst of his plans, “we could push our way to the front.”
or Mike is determined to make this Will's best birthday yet, he even got him The Cure tickets for his birthday. It's really hard to stop himself from kissing his boyfriend tho

Summary
College takes Mike to Chicago and Will to New York. Over the past four years, there's been a steady stream of postcards and letters between Mike and Will. Visits aren't frequent, and Mike just wants to hear Will's voice, so he buys a landline for his apartment. Turns out the phone is useful for keeping in touch: heavy on the touch part.

Sir Michael tilted his head, squinting at Will. Without warning, his hand came to cup Will's cheek, turning his skin at least ten degrees warmer. "He looks like you," Sir Michael continued, "and he has your name. Your moles, too."
His thumb came down to brush the mole over Will's top lip. The touch felt soft, strangely reverent. "My— moles?"
Mike had the same sentiment, albeit with more displeasure. "His moles?"
Will makes a wish. Sir Michael the Brave comes to fulfill it, but Mike Wheeler makes his wish come true.

It turns out that Mike Wheeler has spent his whole life thinking that everyone under the sun thinks that boys are pretty. Will doesn't really know what to do with that - and Mike doesn't really know what to do with himself when he finds out that it's not true. Emotional turmoil ensues.

Michael stepped closer to Will, until he was nearly pressed against his side. He looked at him, head tilted down to meet his gaze. His boots made him taller, making the height difference he and Mike shared even more pronounced. Will shivered when he felt a hand press against his lower back.
“My choices are yours, my prince. If you would like me to distance myself, I will do so without hesitation. Would you like that?”
Will stared, mouth agape. Michael’s eyes were boring into his soul. Mike had never looked at him like that, and it was doing things to him. Slowly, he shook his head.
Michael smirked, looking pleased.
“Hey,” Mike snapped. “I said back off, okay?”When an alternate version of Mike, a strong, confident knight, appears in Hawkins, the Party attempts to help him get home, and Will attempts to survive his flirting.
