Summary
“Listen, Sweetheart, I ain’t takin’ you all the way the fuck back to yer Vault.”
“Wait…what? You—You’re not?”
“No, ‘course not.”
“But—”
“I needed it believable, Lucy. I needed yer daddy to believe it. Better yet, I needed you to believe it.”
She presses her lips together. Why should she believe him now? Just because she wants it to be true still doesn’t mean he is being truthful. Then again, she supposes he’s never lied to her outright. Maybe he kept things from her, but he was technically always honest.
“What’s the plan, then?”

AKA, lucy doesn't get the chance to punch cooper out the window and he does take her out of new vegas, but not for the reasons she thinks... he has another plan in mind, yet it's not much of a plan at all; it's a risk that he wouldn't have taken for anyone aside from his vaultie

Summary
The wasteland changes people, turns you into something you never thought you'd be. Sometimes it seems unavoidable, unfixable, but maybe the right person just needs to come and take your hand.
OR
I don't trust Bethesda or Prime to handle Lucy and Cooper the way I want their story to go, so this is what I'd do with them if I was showrunner, aka my season 3.

Summary
“Hang on, now Darlin’,” a sudden, brusque tug pulled her down and she lost her footing, falling into his lap.
She felt his breath on her neck, his lips brushing the shell of her ear when he spoke, “I don’t think I heard you right.” She gulped, stomach dropping as one of his arms snaked around her waist, the other came up to rest on her throat. She needed to disentangle herself, to get away from him, but he was too strong, and if she was being honest, she wasn’t trying terribly hard to get away. Lucy wasn’t sure she even wanted whatever was happening to stop.
“You tellin’ me Miss Prim and fuckin’ Proper was fixin’ to sneak into my room and let me break her in before her lil boyfriend?”
---Or
After losing her father and being abandoned by the Ghoul, Lucy spirals even with Max by her side, unsure of what she wants or who she is anymore. Luckily, a familiar face returns to help her explore all her worst impulses and vices to escape herself. But her evolving relationship with the Ghoul begins to drive a wedge between her and Max. How can she keep Max when she's not the person she was before? How can she tell the Ghoul she knows he's Cooper Howard, and why is he the only thing that feels like home?
