Summary
The world is a darkened, blurry mess as she comes to. Mind half lucid with foggy distant dimmed lights dancing in her vision. Muted beeps sound off to her side, pitched enough for her to hear it, just barely. She finds the feeling of warmth and comfort strange. But the feeling of foreign tubes down her throat and wires on her arms was not.
A rising panic starts in her chest, a whimper sounding off pathetically as she starts to struggle as she can. Her arms unmoving, stuck, like they were restrained. It only causes her to panic more. Her mind is riding the train of fear, thoughts screaming only "not again please not again" like a mantra, over and over again.
She wants to escape, to leave. Body screams terror for her as she struggles weakly, jerks at her restraints, and rips her throat with softened pained sounds of a fearful creature. They're going to tear into her again. The blade of a scalpel plunging into her stomach, pulling back the skin to poke and prod at her insides, sore and tender from everything they've done to her.
